Thieves Stealing Fire Hydrants from Los Angeles Neighborhood

Four stolen from one neighborhood has left the entire block without any.

Thieves in a South Los Angeles neighborhood are stealing fire hydrants.

To date, four hydrants have been stolen, KTLA reported.

The thefts have left one block without any.

“It’s beyond annoying, Why would you steal a fire hydrant? What are you going to do with a fire hydrant? Now you have a whole neighborhood of houses that are in danger because we have no access for our fire department,”area resident Krystail Cousins said.

Similar thefts have occurred in Lynwood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office.
